Till Lindemann publishes poems
“Messer”. A comparatively simple title for a quite (word)powerful work. Rammstein singer Till Lindemann, well known and notorious for his provocative, taboo breaking lyrics, has published a volume of poetry. What applies to the music of Rammstein can also be said of Lindemann’s poem collection: Not to everyone’s taste. But for Till Lindemann it was never the goal to make something, which is to "everyone’s taste". Whoever likes the martialistic, abyss plumbing lyrics of the Rammstein Songs, and to him the explosive meeting of the antiquated language and new catchwords can somewhat win through, will probably also find the poems of the artist pleasing. Messer" is published by the Eichborn publishing house and costs 29.90 euro. (Lindemann guests in the WOM centres in Leipzig on 16.12. and in Berlin on 17.12. for signing hours.
