What do you think about winning the award?
Christoph Schneider (drums): “There were so many good bands nominated that we did not expect to win. But then, we are the best European live band.”

What was going through your mind as you were going on stage?
Paul Landers (guitar): “I was just thinking, ‘Wow, we won’. “

What’s the plan for the rest of the evening?
Christoph: “We’re going straight home. We’re actually meant to be on holiday, but there is an emergency going on in Germany right now. Too much water. How do you say it? Floods?”

Any message for the Kerrang readers?
Christoph: “We are very happy that you have good taste.”
Paul: “Thank you for showing that music is truly international and that people really don’t care where a band comes from.”
